WinGQPLite... a simple logging program with only the basics.
IF you were logging on paper... try this one, you will like it.
You will have to send CW by hand or with a separate keyer.
The radio will not be under program control.
You will have to change Mode and Band in the program as you operate.
But this version of WinGQP is greatly simplified, and will appeal to those who
do not want the complexity of hooking up all the extras. It is a “stand alone”
logger which makes a well formed Cabrillo file directly as it’s only output.
Out of state and GA are both supported.
INSTALLATION:
Be Sure Microsoft .NET Framework 3.5 (or later) is installed on your PC. This MUST be there.

Download WinGQPLIte.zip by clicking here: Download the zip
Unzip (Extract) the zip contents to be in C:/WinGQPLite. (ONLY)
Find C:/WinGQPLite/setup.exe and run it to install the program.
If it all goes well, you will see the program start with the sample log file,
and a Peach Icon will be on the desktop.
You should use “File” to start a new log for your call, then fill in the header info for your operation,
Choose a Band and Mode.
GA stations have to put in their County selection from a list.... Go.
Make a test log, enter a few QSOs as examples to see how it works, then when GQP starts,
create a new log for real.

WinGQPLite can be used to easily hand enter paper or spread sheet logging info after the party.
Just set the main program to use manual time entry, to enter the info... after setting up the
log file as mentioned above. Do not forget to keep up with band and mode changes in the Q’s.
