WinGQP was used for the 2009 party by many.... Check here for availability. The first version will remain available for inspection until the new and improved WinGQP is ready! Version 2 will separate the big windown into several smaller windows that can be hidden or shown, and return to their last positions. Some radios will be added. More....
First Release download. Download the zip. This is the full version, named WinGQPFull.exe Download Quick Start Manual .pdf Download the Quick Start Manual .doc Ver 1: Mostly support for WinKey, and a lot of CW functions. FKeys, Wildcards, Macro in FKeys, and CW keyboard entry. Most of the commonly used short cuts are working, “Insert” sends the exchange and such. Menu access to options has been revised, for the better. A WinKey test window will help you find and check your WinKey. I only have a WK2USB, but I am expecting most of the serial WinKeys will be compatible. Look for the Peach. Scores are very accurate, Dupes and Invalid Qs are detected and accounted. Header info is checked and MUST be filled in to do any logging. This info is all selectable, and easily completed... The Download is a self extracting file. Save any test files you want to keep. NOTE: NOTE--- NOTE--- NOTE You really should do the .NET update first. Windows .NET 3.5 sp1 MUST be installed. You may want to just install it separately from WinGQP. See http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/netframework/aa569263.aspx if you want to download and install. INFO: WinGQP installs directly in C:\ only. This simplifies the install over versions of XP and Vista. The WinGQP folder is created in the extract. Cabrillo files will be created directly, in Version 3 format. Cabrillo V2 files can be read, but will be saved as V3. The multiplier files are external, and in txt format. An “ini” file allows the setting and restore of program options, window positions, etc. The ini file is also viewable with “Notepad” or other simple editors. Early checkout needs.... Install issues... Startup and init issues... User Interface bugs... Crashes... Files not saving right... Features needed/not needed... and ? Help on all these items is welcome. Join the WinGQP Yahoo group at http://groups.yahoo.com/group/wingqp/ to keep up on issues, bugs, fixes, and updates. Other comment to ne4s@iham.us is OK too.
